AEG Presents to Open 4,000-Cap United Heritage Hall in Austin, Spring 2027

AEG Presents has announced United Heritage Hall, a 65,000-square-foot, 4,000-capacity live music venue set to open in spring 2027 within Austin's Riverside/River Park development, near downtown and the airport. The venue carries an Art Deco and mid-century-inspired design and is being developed in partnership with United Heritage Credit Union, which holds naming rights, alongside real estate partners Westfield, Partners Group and Presidium.

Austin has long branded itself the "Live Music Capital of the World," and the market genuinely has depth at the small-club level and at the arena end with Moody Center. What it's had less of is a well-designed mid-size room -- roughly the 3,000-to-5,000-capacity range that lets a touring act play a real production without needing to fill an arena. United Heritage Hall is a direct play for that gap, and it puts AEG in more direct competition with Live Nation, which controls much of Austin's existing venue landscape.

The naming-rights structure is also worth a note: a credit union sponsoring a venue is a smaller but notable departure from the banks and insurers that have traditionally dominated naming-rights deals, and it says something about how venue operators are diversifying who they partner with for capital and local credibility.
