Live Nation to Open First Southeast Asian Venue, Grange House, in Singapore

Live Nation will open Grange House, a 3,000-capacity live entertainment venue near Orchard Road's Somerset precinct, by mid-2027 -- the company's first purpose-built venue in Southeast Asia. The site sits on a Lendlease Global Commercial REIT property, with the Singapore Tourism Board named as a supporting partner; investment figures haven't been disclosed.

Singapore has spent years positioning itself as a regional hub for major touring productions and residencies, competing with Hong Kong, Bangkok and increasingly Kuala Lumpur for acts that used to route around Southeast Asia rather than through it.

A dedicated 3,000-capacity room from the world's largest concert promoter is a meaningful vote of confidence in that strategy, and the involvement of the Singapore Tourism Board as a named partner suggests the government sees direct value in helping Live Nation land here rather than treating it as a purely private real estate transaction.

Lendlease's role as landlord is also notable. Real estate groups partnering directly with promoters and operators -- rather than simply leasing commercial space to them -- is a pattern across several markets, signalling a longer-term, more integrated relationship than a standard tenancy.
